Minimal Incision Facelift

Short scar, Quick lift, Lunchtime Lift, S-Lift, etc., these are all names for a facelift with no scar behind the ear. Dr. Rosato has studied all of these techniques and brings an individualized plan to every surgery patient. Dr. Rosato’s patients recover quickly and often return to work in 7 to 10 days. The Rosato Plastic Surgery Center is licensed by the state of Florida as an ambulatory surgery center. Anesthesia is given by board certified doctors of anesthesia. Your procedure may be done with twilight anesthesia or a light general anesthesia. For further information on this procedure you can visit the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery web site, http://www.smartbeautyguide.com/procedures/head-face.

Neck Lift

Many patients with loose neck skin will benefit from a facelift. Isolated loose neck skin can be treated with direct removal in some men. The scar is hidden in a neck crease. The scar is usually visible in women so the direct removal of skin is not commonly done in women. If the skin is not loose then excess fat can be treated with Kybella an injectable product that dissolves fat. It is approved by the FDA to treat fat in the neck under the chin. Patients treated with Kybella have swelling and discomfort localized to the treatment area. Liposuction with or without skin removal can also treat heavy necks.  For further information on this procedure you can visit the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery web site, http://www.smartbeautyguide.com/procedures/head-face.

Eyelid Lift

The eyes are the window to the soul. Eye lid surgery treats the excess skin and fat of the upper and lower eyelids. This surgery is done as an outpatient procedure. It may be recommended that you also have treatment of the forehead if there is sagging. Botox can also be used give a lift to the eyelid area. Recovery from surgery is usually in 7 to 10 days. The Rosato Plastic Surgery Center is licensed by the state of Florida as an ambulatory surgery center. Anesthesia is given by board certified doctors of anesthesia. You procedure may be done general anesthesia or twilight anesthesia. Brow Lift

The brow is often over looked by patients when they are seeking facial rejuvenation. As we age, we lose fat in our face, and the brow descends. This can cause hooding of the upper lids and a laxity in the upper cheek. Brow lifts are done to improve these areas and are often combined with eyelid surgery. There are many types of brow lift procedures. Some require incisions in the hair, or an incision above the brow, or no visible incision at all. Dr. Rosato can evaluate your brow and discuss all these options with you. One type of brow lift is done thru the eyelid incision. Recovery from this surgery is faster than a traditional brow lift. Not all patients are candidates for this procedure and an examination is necessary to determine if this is a procedure for you. Fat Grafting

The aging process is very complex. Sun damage, diet, and other secondary factors all work together to make up the changes that we see. Even though we may seem to gain fat around our mid-section we lose fat in the face making the face look deflated. Dr. Rosato will often add fat grafting to his facelift procedure to achieve more youthful appearance.  For further information on this procedure you can visit the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery web site, http://www.smartbeautyguide.com/procedures/head-face.

Rhinoplasty

“Nose-job” as it is commonly referred to, is a type of surgery done to refine the appearance of the nose. Some patients may also have functional problems with their breathing, and these breathing obstructions may also be corrected at the same time. Surgery of the nose requires a general anesthesia and recovery usually last 7 to 10 days. The question is often asked, “When should teenagers have nose surgery”. It is prudent to wait until the nose is fully grown which is usually after age 16 for girls and age 18 for boys. Otoplasty

Prominent ears are a common problem that can be corrected with Plastic Surgery. Ears that stick out too far from the head are distressing to children as well as adults. A straight forward procedure is used to set the ear back into a more acceptable position. In adults this procedure is usually done under local anesthesia with oral sedation. Children may require an anesthetic for this procedure. Most patients return to work in 3 to 7 days. Face implants

As our face ages we tend to loose fat, and this loss of facial fat leads to a flattening and sagging of our skin. The loss of volume can be corrected with injection of fillers that are temporary, or a more permanent correction can be done with fat transfer or implants. The more common implants are placed along the cheek and jaw bones. The surgery is outpatient and recovery is usually in a few days.
