Injectable Fillers

Fillers are synthetic material that is injected into a wrinkle to decrease the wrinkle line. Most of the time a local anesthetic is needed to administer the procedure. We can prescribe a sedative to take by mouth if you are anxious before the procedure. A consultation is needed to decide which filler will best improve your concern. The Rosato Plastic Surgery Center only uses FDA approved fillers for your safety. Serious complications can occur if non FDA approved products are used. You will be swollen for up to 3 days and you may bruise. It is recommended to not take medication that may thin your blood to avoid excessive bruising.

BOTOX Cosmetic®

BOTOX Cosmetic® works by temporarily blocking the muscles of the face. The block lasts 2 to 4 months. An over active muscle is the cause of the wrinkles in our skin. BOTOX Cosmetic® is available at The Rosato Plastic Surgery Center 5 days a week. You can return to work the same day.

Laser treatment of the skin

Dr. Rosato offers laser treatments of wrinkles, red and brown spots, and tattoo removal. Laser technology changes very rapidly due to new innovations. The Lasers are brought into the Center as needed. This allows Dr. Rosato to use the best available technology to treat his patients.

Laser Hair Reduction

Laser hair reduction is offered at the Rosato Plastic Surgery Center and the treatment is directed by Amber Atkinson, ARNP. Multiple treatments are needed due to the fact that all hairs do not grow at the same time. The treatment is completed as an outpatient and you can return to work the same day. If you find the treatment uncomfortable then a topical anesthetic can be applied prior to the treatment to reduce your discomfort.

Obagi Nu-Derm

We carry the Obagi line and have done so since it was developed over 10 years ago. The program is a dynamic one and monitoring is needed to obtain the best results. Other skin care products are available for conditions and concerns that are not addressed by the Obagi skin care program.

Dermesse

The next generation of hydroquinone and tretinoin skin care therapy. These specially formulated skin care products are well tolerated by the patient, while the proprietary delivery system provides maximum results. This system works at the cellular level using topical prescription strength products combined with effective system enhancing products, to produce noticeable and lasting change in your skin's appearance. While under the supervision of your physician, individual regimens allow for the desired amount of correction. An affordable alternative to Obagi Nu Derm.

Chemical Peels

Chemical peels can be very superficial with a brief down period or more extensive with recovery lasting a week or so. Chemical peels treat discolored skin as well as wrinkles. Severe wrinkled skin may need a more aggressive laser treatment.

Fractional CO2 Laser

This is a new and exciting technology that combines the beneficial effects of the CO2 Laser and the Fraxel Laser. No anesthesia is required and a topical anesthetic cream is used to limit discomfort. Patients have very limited recovery and can return to work in a day or so.
